China Glaze Hologlam - Take a Trek, Cosmic Dust, and Strap On Your Moonboots

Hey guys! Today I have the next few polishes from the China Glaze Hologlam collection! Finishing up the cooler-toned polishes in this post -- I adore blue polish (and I'm sure that feeling is shared among many of the polish lover community) so I really love the wide variety of blue holos in this collection!

As in the last post:

• I used Nfu Oh Aqua Base on my pinky and middle finger; no base coat on ring and index
• I used OPI Topcoat on my middle finger; no top on the rest
• I used 2 coats for each swatch, with some "half-coat" dabbing for patchiness

And on to the pretties!

Take a Trek is a medium denim blue. Very pretty! It reminds me of a few other blue holos I have, in particular Layla Ocean Rush. I plan to maybe do some comparison posts later on -- for everyone's and my own reference. However, of course the holo effect between the two is totally different, so no matter what definitely worth having both if you like blue holos!

Cosmic Dust is a silver. Interestingly this one is quite a bit darker than other silvers I have. I don't have OMG myself, but my sister does, and I would definitely be interested in seeing a comparison! Cosmic Dust almost seems like a light steely gray -- definitely silvery, but with a twist. Very cool, and since it is a little different, likely to be a unique one among most people's collections (definitely in mine!).

Strap On Your Moonboots is the last of the blues, a deep midnight navy. I adore this one! Back when I first saw the collection this was the first one I knew would be a must-have for me -- I love how deep the color is. Plus the holo is amazing here! It seems the holo shows up especially well in the darker shades, which I will discuss more in my later posts.

And that is it for the cooler half of the collection! Strap On Your Moonboots is definitely my favorite, though they are all amazing. I really like how vibrant these shades are, even when not in direct light. They are all so pretty :) What is your favorite?
