Enchanted Polish Daydream Surprise and Lacquer Lust Pow Chica Wow Wow

Hey guys! Today I have a really pretty mani for you that I wore awhile back. I started out with Lacquer Lust Pow Chica Wow Wow, a bright blue holo. I then layered over it Enchanted Polish Daydream Surprise, a clear shimmery base glitter mix full of various turquoise, red, blue, and purple small and microglitters in hexes and squares, and orange and silvery bars. A lot going in this glitter mix; very very pretty! The combo went perfectly together, I think - take a look!

Here are a few shots of Pow Chica Wow Wow on its own, since it is very pretty :)

I love the contrast in this mani -- the bright glitters really pop against the blue base! So pretty. Pow Chica Wow Wow is such a bright shade of blue, also. Overall, adore this mani! :)

Lacquer Lust Nice To Be Naughty + Giveaway Winner!

Hey guys! Before we get to today's mani I wanted to announce that the winner of my giveaway is Megan Ramsey! I wanted to display it on the widget but Rafflecopter currently won't let me, which is weird. I have emailed Megan and she has 48 hours to respond, after which I will pick another winner. I want to once more welcome all my new followers and thank everyone who entered my very first giveaway -- you guys all rock! ♥

Today I have another pretty polish from Lacquer Lust. I waited a bit to share it because this one is another Christmas polish, yay! Nice To Be Naughty is full of small red square, small holo light green hexes, and some very faint microshimmer in a milky white base. I don't know if I've outright said it yet, but I really love milky white base polishes! They might not always be the easiest to work with or the most flattering, but I find that they are so pretty and interesting that I don't care, haha. Nice To Be Naughty was actually very easy to apply, though! It builded really well with no bald spots. Like the last Lacquer Lust polish I reviewed, the glitter did sink to the bottom of the bottle a bit -- I had to shake it to get enough glitter out, and this did result in less glitter on the nail than some similar polishes. However, even with the extra effort, I do like the effect of the scattered glitter on the nail, it looks nice :) Check it out!

 On my nails:
1 coat Innisfree Eco Peel-off Base coat
3 coats Lacquer Lust Nice To Be Naughty
1 coat Seche Vite

It is hard to see the holo of the green glitter in the pictures (I imagine if it's covered by the milky base at all that dulls the effect) but I really love when the light catches them just so and makes it sparkle :) I am loving all my Christmas manis so far and am excited to continue sharing them with you guys... hope you all like Christmas manis too because I got a ton of them planned up through Christmas :)

Lacquer Lust Kiss The Girl

Hey guys! Today I have an adorable polish from new indie brand Lacquer Lust called Kiss The Girl, based on The Little Mermaid! Kiss The Girl is a hot pink, almost red jelly base full of small rainbow hexes (some holo!), the occasional medium-sized pink hex, and pink/rainbow microglitter as well! I super adore any rainbow glitter polish, but this is my first in a reddish base like this, so I love it! Check it out:

On my nails:
1 coat Innisfree Eco Peel-off Base Coat
4 coats Lacquer Lust Kiss The Girl
1 coat Seche Vite

So this is 4 coats on my nails, as you see. The base actually is opaque enough that you get decent opacity in 2 coats, and that 3rd coat adds depth. However, the rainbow glitters were somewhat difficult to fish out (heavy bottle shaking was necessary) so all 4 coats helped me to achieve the sparkliness I was after :) The effort was worth it though. And other than that application was very easy -- the formula was nice, glitters laid flat and spread nicely over the nails, and it was nice and smooth even before top coat. I so very rarely wear "traditional" polish colors like red and pink anymore, but I loved this mani! And since the rainbow glitters are a little sparser than some similar polishes, the rainbow is kind of subtle, which is a cool effect. I got compliments on this one today, and as I'm sure you all understand, mani compliments totally make my day :)
