Happy Easter! Magical Mystery Easter Garden - Enchanted Polish Magical Mystery Tour + Rainbow Honey Sakura Matsuri

Hey guys, Happy Easter! I really love the lush pretty spring-inspired mani I have to share with you guys today. I considered doing some cute bunny-filled mani (who doesn't love bunnies?) but I thought this combo would be too pretty to pass up -- and I was right! Enchanted Polish Magical Mystery Tour (check out my individual review of this gorgeous beauty here) is a mostly teal or purple (depending on the lighting and angle) multichrome that also flashes blue, pinkish, and gold, with fine scattered holo. I layered Rainbow Honey Sakura Matsuri, which is a clear base with pink and white satin flower glitters, small white satin hexes, and small silver holo and pink microglitter, as well as sporadic multi-colored microglitter -- I spot blue, yellow, and maybe green? This polish is much more complex than I realized and I am happy to finally wear it after having it for quite a long time! Overall I find this mani totally stunning -- check it out!

Tons of pictures in this post but I'm sure you don't mind -- isn't this such a crazy magical fragical mani? I never want to take it off! I'm not exaggerating when I say Magical Mystery Tour is my favorite polish, the color itself is crazy vibrant and the color shifts are out of this world, it's just amazing. I never thought it could be improved upon, but adding Sakura Matsuri took it to a new level of vibrant but delicate, whimsical beauty. Love love love it!

Rainbow Neon Skittles + OPI Black Spotted

Hey guys! Today's post is a super fun and colorful skittles mani. I recently got OPI Black Spotted, and was so excited to try it out that I wanted to do it over something extra special. As you probably know, Black Spotted is an effect topcoat like crackles, that bubbles up when applied. It also was only released in France I believe, so I am really happy to finally have it! For my rainbow, I used China Glaze Hang-Ten Toes, a shimmery neon bubblegum pink, China Glaze Sun-Kissed, a shimmery neon yellow, China Glaze I'm With The Lifeguard, a shimmery neon green, China Glaze Splish Splash, a shimmery neon ocean blue, and China Glaze Gothic Lolita, the only non-neon in the bunch but a pretty warm purple with pink shimmer. Then, of course, Black Spotted went over all of them :) Take a look!

On my nails:
1 coat Innisfree Eco Peel-off Base coat
2 coats each China Glaze Hang-Ten Toes/China Glaze Sun-Kissed/China Glaze I'm With The Lifeguard/China Glaze Splish Splash/China Glaze Gothic Lolita
1 coat KB Shimmer Clearly On Top

Sorry if my pictures aren't perfect -- not too used to taking pictures including my thumb also, had a hard time arranging my hand, haha. So when applying Black Spotted, you definitely need to make sure to use an almost absurdly thin coat -- basically don't have any polish on the brush, and you're good to go. Otherwise, it won't bubble really and will just be black. Also, the wear isn't that great; if you don't topcoat it it will kind of flake off almost immediately, and even with topcoat my tips suffered pretty badly within like 12 hours. All in all kind of a pain but the effect sure is fun!  And I always love rocking a skittles mani :)

Like I said OPI Black Spotted is HTF, but you can find it on eBay for not too terrible prices. Also, I saw that Layla came out with a new Bubbly Effect line that is likely similar -- can't wait to try those out myself!

Have a great day! ♥

KB Shimmer Where My Peeps At

Hey guys! Today I have one of the lovely polishes from the KB Shimmer spring collection. Where My Peeps At is a pastel yellow crelly base with small circles and microglitter in magenta, light pink, gold, aqua, and green. I loved this polish the moment I saw it -- super pastel and cute and so springy!

So pretty! Excellent formula as I would expect from a KB Shimmer; application was lovely. I don't do yellow so often (can so easily look terrible on my skin tone) but this one was perfect -- just like cute little Easter eggs on my nails :)

Ozotic 534 - Purple Holo Multichrome Amazingness!

Hey guys! Today I have one of the lovely Mish Mash Ozotic shades to share with you! In case you aren't aware, the Mish Mash shades are holo multichromes - like the Enchanted Polish Beatles/Imagine collection. I have had this one for awhile but only just got around to wearing it -- I've recently realized just how many untrieds I have (afraid to find out the actual number but I'm sure it is appalling) so I hope to whittle it down from now on! Anyway, 534 is a purple base that shifts pinkish and gold, and is of course crazy holo! These are a lot more sheer than the Enchanteds so I layered it over my most recent obsession, Cult Nails Nevermore, a fantastic glossy black one-coater. I love the dark, mysterious purple effect the two created together - check it out!

On my nails:
1 coat Nail Tek III Protection Plus
1 coat Cult Nails Nevermore
1 coat Ozotic 534
1 coat Deborah Lippmann Addicted to Speed

The next two photos attempt to show the color shifts - I am never all that great at capturing shifts but I think you can see the pink in the first photo, and the goldish in the second:

Really adore this polish! Patting myself on the back for going through a crazy phase a while back and hunting down a bunch of HTF discontinued Ozotics like this one, because they really are gorgeous. Such a strong, pretty holo, and it looks so vampy and cool over black. The color shift is kind of hard to see sometimes for me, but when I do it sure is pretty :) Looking forward to trying the blue version of this polish that I also picked up soon!

If you'd like to check out Ozotic be sure to visit their website, check out the Network page for all the places you can buy, and their Facebook
The Mish Mashes (and the whole 500 line) are discontinued but you can find some of the 500 line still on their website/at other vendors, and never forget to check eBay, as of this post a few Mish Mash polishes are on there!

Enchanted Polish Halo

Hey guys! I have one of the newer pretties from Enchanted Polish to share with you today! Halo is a pale silvery light blue with a subtle scattered holo effect. Such a pretty, delicate shade! And actually part of the proceeds of Halo go to help the Ronald McDonald House, which makes it that much sweeter :)

On my nails:
1 coat Seche Clear
3 coats Enchanted Polish Halo
1 coat Seche Vite

It seems like this one has a subtle flash of pale pinky-purple sometimes, but I'm not sure if my eyes are deceiving me... application was quite like most Enchanteds, but Halo was a little more sheer than most. It was actually even more delicate and quite pretty at 2 coats, but I couldn't resist the 3rd to cover up a few patchy bits. I really love this one! It reminds me of a holo version of my favorite light blue ever, Hard Candy Sky. Now with holo -- which just makes it even better!

Delightful Handmade Lacquers Review Part 3

Hey guys! Today is my last post featuring Delightful Handmade Lacquers. More holos today, and I musy say I love every single one of them! Enjoy :)

Clockwise starting from top right: Stellar Cartography, Tin Foil Hat,
Enchanted Forest. Tiger's Blood

Stellar Cartography is a deep oceany true blue holo. Such a lovely bright, vibrant shade! Seriously in love with this one here. Like before I really don't know if this is linear or scattered, but I do know it's gorgeous :)

On my nails:
2 coats Delightful Handmade Lacquers Stellar Cartography
(pinky only) OPI Topcoat

Great application too -- this one didn't really need anything (like base or topcoat) but easy coats to look fabulous!

Enchanted Forest is a grassy green holo -- more yellow-toned than the emerald Lucky Clover I posted yesterday. Another gorgeous one! Same easy application as Stellar Cartography, same pretty holo effect. Two green holos in one collection makes this green polish lover very happy!

(pinky only) OPI Topcoat

Tin Foil Hat is a brilliant silver holo. The holo on this is spectacular! My pictures don't do it justice at all, it really is so incredibly pretty. I love how even in my picture you can clearly see a pretty pastel rainbow across the nail. I don't have too many silver holos so it's tough for me to do much of a comparison (though I do have some holo comparison posts planned in the distant future... we'll see if I ever get around to it) but I think this one is quite nice.

On my nails:
2 coats Delightful Handmade Lacquers Tin Foil Hat
(pinky only) OPI Topcoat

2 coats are adequate but you can probably see some bald spots in my pics -- 3 coats would probably be better for this one. Still, nice application though for the most part! Went on easy like the last two.

Tiger's Blood is our last pretty -- a slightly pink-toned but very vibrant red holo! This one is less pink-toned than China Glaze Infra-Red for sure, but it still isn't exactly fire engine red -- so pretty though! Even though red isn't my color I still find this quite wearable. Same nice application and coverage as the first two in this post -- love that!

A bunch of great holos! I really liked almost all of the polishes I tried from Delightful Handmade Lacquers, they had nice application and were unique and beautiful. Definitely plan on incorporating some of them in future manis! :)

Delightful Handmade Lacquers Review Part 2

Hey guys! Sorry for not posting in awhile -- this past week I was in California on spring break! I'm back now and miss it already, but I'm happy to be back to the ol' blog :)

Today I have part 2 of my review on Delightful Handmade Lacquers! We've got some pretty holos today, and as always I must say -- yay holo!

L to R, top to bottom: Lucky Clover,Karat Cake, Oasis

Oasis is a light sky blue holo. Honestly I struggle a bit in identifying some scatters vs. linears, but I think it is scattered? Not super unique but very pretty! This one was a little different in texture than most of the others -- a little frostier maybe. Still, fairly nice application.

On my nails:
(middle finger only) 1 coat Nfu Oh Aqua Base coat
2 coats Delightful Handmade Lacquers Oasis
(pinky only) OPI Topcoat

Don't believe the aqua base made much of a difference on these polishes, so I didn't use it for long -- did do the top coat for all of them though! You will see it makes a difference in shine more on some, but I don't think it diminished holo much.

Karat Cake is a burnt orange holo. This one I struggled with on application a bit, but when I went back and tried again it was not as bad -- it was the first of the bunch I tried though, so maybe I just had to get used to it? This seems quite different in finish to the rest as well, a little chrome or metallic maybe. This seems like a nice fall color -- I prefer brighter oranges personally, but you might like this if you like the darker ones.

On my nails:
(middle finger only) 1 coat Nfu Oh Aqua Base coat
3 coats Delightful Handmade Lacquers Karat Cake
(pinky only) OPI Topcoat

Like I said I struggled a bit with application initially hence 3 coats, but when I tried again 2 seemed fine :)

Lucky Clover is last for today; it's a blue-toned emerald green holo. Super pretty, I love this one! It dries a bit matte -- not actually matte, but not glossy, so you can definitely tell there is topcoat only on my pinky. Of course, with polishes like this one how can I not continue to obsess over green polish :)

On my nails:
(middle finger only) 1 coat Nfu Oh Aqua Base coat
2 coats Delightful Handmade Lacquers Lucky Clover
(pinky only) OPI Topcoat

It had quite nice application too -- this and the rest of the holos (that will be featured in my next post) all had unusually smooth, even, easy application. They remind me of Catherine Arley holos in terms of that application, if that helps at all :) Really love them!

Some very nice colors here! I just adore Lucky Clover -- ended up wearing it for several days, throwing a matte topcoat over it, and wearing it for a couple more days after that -- crazy long mani for me!

Look forward to the rest of the pretties tomorrow!
