Enchanted Polish January 2013

Hey guys! Today I have Enchanted Polish January 2013 to share with you. Last week I was lucky enough to see Chelsea update Twitter that these were in stock at just the right time -- they were even already all gone when I put one in my cart but after a few refreshes one freed up and I grabbed it -- pretty sure I got the last one! January 2013 is kind of hard for me to describe... I guess I would call it a coppery, slightly rosy champagne linear holo... but I'm not sure if that is right, haha (and the listing is gone so I'm not even sure what the official party line is). One thing I'm sure of is it's totally gorgeous, take a look!

 On my nails:
1 coat Nfu Oh Aqua Base coat
2 coats Enchanted Polish January 2013
1 coat Deborah Lippmann Addicted to Speed

So, I don't usually need a special aqua base for Enchanted polishes, but I was struggling with application on this one a bit (it was a little brushstroke-y and I was piling on the coats trying to even out) so I thought I'd give it a try... my second attempt was much more successful, but that was likely a result of careful, thinner coats (and maybe luck). So pretty though! Blindingly holo in the sun -- which was on its way down in a hurry when I took these photos, so I'm definitely looking forward to staring at my nails all day tomorrow, haha.

MmmmNails Swatches and Review Part One

Hi guys! The next few posts are going to be swatches and reviews of 10 polishes from a new indie brand, MmmmNail! I really was impressed with these polishes, so I hope you enjoy! :)

left to right: Jamaican Spice, Cheat Day, Candy Burst

All swatches are two coats with no base or top coat~

Jamaican Spice is a really lovely coppery color full of gold and pink shimmer. If you zoom in on the pictures you can see the gorgeous shimmer really well. This shade reminds me of cinnamon; perfect for fall!

Cheat Day is a yellow-gold shimmer with a pale pink duochrome shift. At least, I think so :) It is so unique that it is a bit hard to describe, but I was really amazed by the effect! This is a really pretty color, and I really love the pink shift. It possibly has some more colors in there; at times it looks a touch blue-green, but it is hard to tell if that is really color shift or just reflection. Either way, it's gorgeous!

Candy Burst is a blue-toned hot pink with purple-y shimmer. It's maybe not ultra-unique, but it is very pretty :)

All of these polishes had really great formula! They glided on really nicely, and had great opacity after just two coats. Out of this batch, Cheat Day is definitely my favorite -- never seen anything like it! What's your favorite?
