Ozotic 534 - Purple Holo Multichrome Amazingness!

Hey guys! Today I have one of the lovely Mish Mash Ozotic shades to share with you! In case you aren't aware, the Mish Mash shades are holo multichromes - like the Enchanted Polish Beatles/Imagine collection. I have had this one for awhile but only just got around to wearing it -- I've recently realized just how many untrieds I have (afraid to find out the actual number but I'm sure it is appalling) so I hope to whittle it down from now on! Anyway, 534 is a purple base that shifts pinkish and gold, and is of course crazy holo! These are a lot more sheer than the Enchanteds so I layered it over my most recent obsession, Cult Nails Nevermore, a fantastic glossy black one-coater. I love the dark, mysterious purple effect the two created together - check it out!

On my nails:

1 coat Cult Nails Nevermore
1 coat Ozotic 534
1 coat Deborah Lippmann Addicted to Speed

The next two photos attempt to show the color shifts - I am never all that great at capturing shifts but I think you can see the pink in the first photo, and the goldish in the second:

Really adore this polish! Patting myself on the back for going through a crazy phase a while back and hunting down a bunch of HTF discontinued Ozotics like this one, because they really are gorgeous. Such a strong, pretty holo, and it looks so vampy and cool over black. The color shift is kind of hard to see sometimes for me, but when I do it sure is pretty :) Looking forward to trying the blue version of this polish that I also picked up soon!

If you'd like to check out Ozotic be sure to visit their website, check out the Network page for all the places you can buy, and their Facebook
The Mish Mashes (and the whole 500 line) are discontinued but you can find some of the 500 line still on their website/at other vendors, and never forget to check eBay, as of this post a few Mish Mash polishes are on there!

Have a great day! ♥

Glimmer by Erica Harvest Moon + Ozotic 602

Hey guys! I have a number of specific "fall" polishes lying around. I was waiting until Thanksgiving to wear them... and then I realized that somehow Thanksgiving snuck up on me, and is only a week away! So today, here is one of these lovely polishes :) Glimmer by Erica Harvest Moon is a really gorgeous mix of dark brown, coppery orange, and berry small hexes, caramel large hexes, and gold microglitter. I think it is especially lovely because there are some unusual glitter colors in there -- I don't have very many neutrals like this, but I rarely see any of these shades of glitters, with the exception of gold of course. I layered it over Ozotic 602, an equally unusual shade -- warm, bronze-ish gold holo! I love the way these two polishes played together, check it out!

On my nails:
1 coat Innisfree Eco Peel-off Base coat
2 coats Ozotic 602
2 coats Glimmer by Erica Harvest Moon
1 coat Seche Vite
1 coat OPI Topcoat
1 coat Seche Vite

The name of this polish just makes me smile :) I'm sure it is inspired by something more nature-y and autumnal than a video game, but all I can think of is Harvest Moon, the strangely addictive farming game that I used to spend days on end playing! Ahh, fond childhood memories :) Today was another day where I was racing a bit against the setting sun (how poetic)... by the time I got outside there was literally only one thin patch of sun close to the ground, so I had to squat down to catch the shots. I'm lucky enough that I rarely run into my neighbors when I am awkwardly outside, taking dozens pictures of my fingernails at every possible angle... hopefully that luck will continue, haha.

As a bonus, here are some shots of Ozotic 602 by itself -- it is such a lovely color!

Dollish Polish Spectral Pup!

Hey guys! My second post of the day... :) Halloween again! Today I have for you Dollish Polish Spectral Pup. I missed out several chances to get this one and was getting close to giving up when I found it in a blog sale, hurray! I was super happy to get my hands on this one due to its Nightmare Before Christmas inspiration, which in case you aren't aware is one of the greatest movies ever :P Plus, it is so pretty and delicate, not to mention glow in the dark! The polish is a mix of orange and white small and microglitters, white medium sized glitters, and a fair amount of holo microglitter. I really liked how ghostly it looked in the bottle and didn't want to overpower that, so I used Ozotic 527 for the base. Ozotic 527 thinks it is a light pink holo, but there really is no holo to speak of... it is a pretty neutral light pink though, a little thick but acceptable opaque in two coats, which is rare for lots of light pinks. The overall mani turned out exactly how I was hoping, check it out!

I spent forever trying to get a good glow in the dark shot for you guys... as you might know if you've tried to do this yourself, this involves spending a fair amount of time "charging" your nails in the light, shutting yourself in a dark room, frantically taking as many terrible photos as you can until the charge wears down... and then repeating, until something becomes adequately acceptable. I finally turned to a tutorial that helped me at least capture my nails and not just the bottle... which made me happy! :)
blurry, but at least you can see it!!
I really do adore Nightmare Before Christmas, Jack, Sally, Zero, and the whole gang, (I even have the plushie Zero to prove it!) so I was really happy with this totally spot-on polish! In fact, I might just go watch the movie now :)

Zero approves!
Have a great day! ♥
