31 Day Challenge Day 3: Yellow - Neon Stars

Hey guys! Today I have my yellow mani for the 31 Day Challenge. I started with Cult Nails Nevermore, the most amazing glossy black ever (first time using it here, hence the overenthusiastic raving.. it seriously is crazy glossy though) and then did a star and dotting design with China Glaze Sun-Kissed, a neon yellow shimmer.

On my nails:
1 coat Innisfree Eco Peel-off Base coat
2 coats Cult Nails Nevermore
1 coat Seche Vite
1 (dotted) "coat" China Glaze Sun-Kissed
1 coat Cult Nails Wicked Fast

So I actually got a ton of compliments on this mani in the one day I wore it! Which is interesting to me, because I actually kind of hate it. Don't get me wrong, the idea of the design is fun (obviously, or I wouldn't have attempted it) but I just hate how sloppy it turned out - imperfect stars, smeared dots, etc. I guess the only way to get better at nail art is to practice -- just hope I get better really quickly :)
