Dollish Polish Hylian Princess

I adore the Legend of Zelda games. Don't play them nearly as much as I'd like to (especially since my Wii is at my parents' house while I'm off at college) but the fantasy and adventure have always appealed to me, ever since I was old enough to hold a controller. So when I saw Dollish Polish had a duo set based on the games, I knew they were just what I needed!

Today I have for you Dollish Polish Hylian Princess. I find this to be positively ethereal -- perfectly in keeping with Princess Zelda's beautiful, slightly mysterious image. It is chock full of purple and white hexes in different sizes, small gold squares and hexes, and much to my surprise and delight, even the occasional large holo hex! Many people have layered this over light purples, but I wanted to try something a bit darker and richer, so I went with an old Maybelline Express Finish in All I Want is Purple.

On my nails:
1 coat Orly Bonder
2 coats Maybelline All I Want is Purple
2 coats Dollish Polish Hylian Princess
2 coats Seche Vite

I really adored this combo! The purple glitter blended with the base really well to give it an amazing depth. I only wish I had sunlight a little earlier, so that I could have taken pictures before that annoying tipwear showed up. Here it is in sun.

This was a super blingy manicure, which was just what I was in the mood for :) As you will likely soon discover, purple polishes are my favorite, so this was pretty much perfect in my book! And add in the Zelda connection, and I'm set. Off to fantasize about galloping across Hyrule now... have a nice day! ♥

  1. Totally love this polish, especially over a dark purple like this. Definitely going to be borrowing this from you at some point... :)
