Hardcore Cosmetics Swatches & Review Part 1

Hey guys! I have a new brand to share with you guys today! I received a bunch of pretties from Hardcore Cosmetics to review, so I will be splitting them up into two posts. On to the first one!

Dig is a warm tan-brown with gold shimmer. Love this one! It's such a flattering shade of brown, I love how warm it leans. Really reminds me of a sunny patch of earth! Application was great, no problems.

Crush is an orange-red shimmer. I adore how bright this one is, it's a fantastic shade of orange-leaning red! (or red-leaning orange...who can tell?) Application was great here as well.

Heaven is a rose gold shimmer. The shimmer and shift here is lovely, you can see in the sun shot how it leans pink on parts of the nail - very pretty! Very heavenly for sure - reminiscent of the golden gates to me. Once again, no application troubles!

Haunted is a light blurple shimmer. Gorgeous color! I love how you can see little bits of pink sparkly within the shimmer. Once again, no troubles with application!

Rain Song is a sheer teal jelly. Very pretty color; I love jellies, and as I've mentioned before VNL doesn't really bother me with jellies as long as application is even. It is pretty sheer though so it does take quite a few coats to build up.

On my nails:
4 coats Harcore Cosmetics Rain Song

Eyes Without a Face is a teal-tinted base with assorted teal and aqua holo hexes. It's layered here over Rain Song. This is a perfect combo, by the way! They complement each other well, by being similar colors but still allowing the glitter to shine.

outdoors, shade - again, why so grainy?

And there you have it for part 1! I was quite impressed with all of these shades; the shimmers especially. I usually think of glitters or more recently holos as what indies have to offer, so it is always fun to come across a good complex shimmer polish.

Look forward to a few more from Hardcore Cosmetics in my next post!

Have a lovely, lovely day! ♥

Polished Colors Swatches & Review

Hello lovelies! I have a new brand on the blog today! Tasha from Polished Colors sent me a couple pretties from her Etsy shop, which I will share with you today~

left to right: Good Minion, Evil Minion
Evil Minion is a lavender crelly with black and white matte hexes and light blue small hexes. I really like this one! The light blue hexes are a really nice touch, giving it a little sparkle. Application was really nice, there was a lot of glitter but it wasn't hurt to apply on the nail at all.

3 coats Polished Colors Evil Minion
1 coat HK Girl Topcoat

Good Minion is a shimmery lemon yellow crelly with white and green hexes. I did not notice the shimmer in this until I applied it - it's super pretty! Definitely makes this one special. Application was good like Evil Minion, easy to spread the glitter across the nail.

Was overall very pleased with these! Pretty colors, great application - and pretty great inspiration behind the colors if you ask me!

Candy Lacquer Tropical Skittles

Hello lovelies! Short post tonight, but I wanted to make sure to get a post up - it's been over a week, I miss my poor little blog! Tonight I've got the lovely Candy Lacquer Tropical Skittles to show you. It's a clear base mix full of matte rainbow circle glitters. I layered it over China Glaze Love's a Beach, a hot pink neon shimmer. Take a look!

Hello all! I have a gorgeous little polish I have been after for a long time on my blog today. I loved Emily de Molly Abstract Canvas as soon as I saw it - hello, is it any surprise I like rainbow glitter? But the matte rainbow glitter, mixed with the black hexes and large circles is just a perfect striking combo in my book. To make each glitter pop I layered it over butter LONDON Cotton Buds, a white creme (my new favorite white creme!) I love love love this mani, take a look!
